Marmalade Sky, Blue Night, and Static are digital photo collages. The base file is a photograph is a heavily diffused shot of the Connecticut shoreline that was shot during a foggy and rainy Oct day. I superimposed the photograph upside down, giving the illusion of a reflection. I manipulated the pixels to look like the water was falling over a dam or waterfall along a linear line. I hand-scratched and deteriorated the image, bringing it from realism into an abstract realm. Static is part of a series and a triptych. The works titled Marmalade sea, Static, and Blue Night is available in sets of ten limited editions in each size.
